How to get there

Sumilon Island, where Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is located, can be accessed either through a boat ride from Bancogon, Oslob in Cebu or a private arrangement with the resort from Sibulan Port in Dumaguete, although most guests use the first option.

As seen from the map, Sumilon Island is in the south part of Cebu, with the resort’s own port set in Bancogon, Oslob. One may choose to arrive in Bancogon, Oslob by riding a taxi cab, vans, Ceres Bus, or their own cars. From there, make sure to drop yourself off in the Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort Port, and find yourself on a ten-minute ride to Sumilon Island as you notify the resort of your reservation.

If a guest comes from Dumaguete, one can choose to find his way to Sibulan Port in Dumaguete, which offers a boat ride to Li-loan port in Cebu, where you can get a taxi cab or public vehicles to Bancogon, where the resort’s port resides.

The luxury resort does offer boat transfers in arranged schedules, around intervals that are an hour to an hour and a half apart, on a daily basis from Sumilon Island to Bancogon, Oslob, unless unforeseen circumstances would occur. Other specifics on the traveling arrangements can be made through reservation with the gracious staff and service.
