How to get there

El Nido Resorts Lagen Island inhabits most of Lagen Island, which is one of the 45 mini islands of Bacuit Bay. Travel arrangements are often made through reservations so that the staff can cater to the guests’ needs in order to reach the luxury resort.

Take a flight from Manila to El Nido, Palawan. Make sure you find yourself in Lio Airport, which is the closest airport to the luxury resort. There, a representative will be waiting for your arrival with a van that will take you and other fellow guests of El Nido Luxury Resorts to El Nido Resorts Jetty Lounge. This Jetty Lounge will give you ample time to relax and recover from a long plane ride until a boat from your island resort comes to pick you up to deliver you and your luggage to Lagen Island. The boat ride to and from Lagen Island is scheduled to complement Airswift Airlines’ travel schedule and arrival time in El Nido, Palawan, unless unforeseen circumstances occur.

For guests who come from different areas of Palawan, you can choose to meet with your representative directly at the El Nido Resorts’ Jetty Lounge, where you present the El Nido Resorts’ Room Vouchers in order to get in.

Best accommodation on the island

El Nido Resorts Lagen Island boasts 51 rooms in different designs relative to their location. These 51 rooms are divided into four classic Filipino designs that are either, Water Cottages, Beachfront Cottages, Forest Rooms, and Forest Suites.

The Forest Suites are undoubtedly the finest rooms on the island, occupying a 70 square meter surface area that is fit for no more than three people. It has all the standard amenities common to the fifty-one rooms of the resort, including an iPod dock, TV, and safety deposit box, but has an additional facility in the bathroom, the suite’s own exclusive bathtub.

Aside from the Forest Suites, the three other types of accommodations also have their own special traits. The water cottages are built on stilts to rise above the water and can be accessed through a shared boardwalk while the beachfront cottages are located at the front of the resort, allowing them to get a panoramic view of the whole resort and the colorful sunset at dusk, plus a closer and more convenient way to the luxury resort’s swimming pool. The Forest Rooms, on the other hand, are strategically located together with the Forest Suites that overlook a beautiful green environment, with all the trees converging in to make a memorable view.

The last three kinds of rooms all occupy 53 square meters and can accommodate a maximum number of three people, although other bedding arrangements can be catered to by the luxury resort and specified during the reservation process. All the rooms have a television, CD player, iPod dock, telephone, and safety deposit box, a hairdryer and water flask, and a small refrigerator and coffee and tea set-up.

Diving

With the resort being located on an island full of rich ancient treasures and long-lost stories of the sea to discover, El Nido Resorts Lagen Island offers its guests some diving courses in order for its guests to experience first-hand the beauty of the underwater world. The diving center has a lot of PADI-certified instructors that can teach you Fun Dive, Night Dive, Check-out Dive, Scuba Diving, Open Water Course, Referral Course, and Advanced Open Water. If you have kids with you, there are also instructors that would guide them to a Bubble Maker experience.

Game Center

Other than outdoor activities that involve nature, El Nido Resorts Lagen Island also has a Game Center where you can bond over your family or your newly met friends from vacation. There are a lot of sports games like table tennis, volleyball, soccer, frisbee, and badminton in the place. They also have billiards and darts equipment. The luxury resort’s game area is the perfect avenue to frequent on if rainy weather descends on the island and most outdoor plans are canceled.
